In the context of the European Commission’s European Energy Security Strategy communication issued in May 2014 [COM(2014) 330 final], this EPRS Keysource gathers documents about security of energy supply for Europe, focusing on the gas supplied by Russia – more than a third to a quarter of the energy consumed by the EU according to the sources – in the context of the current crisis related to Ukrainian’s gas bill to Gazprom.
